Bulldog Bytes Alumni are encouraged to apply to an advanced camp to further their technical knowledge of computing and cybersecurity. This camp is residential and will be held on the campus of Mississippi State University. Thanks to a generous grant from MSU alum Mr. Doug Marchant, this camp will be held each year for girls who have completed a Bulldog Bytes camp in the past. Priority is given to Bulldog Bytes alumni, but others may be accepted depending on space availabiilty and prior computing experience in school or other co-curricular activities.
Bulldog Bytes @ Choctaw Tribal Schools
Bulldog Bytes provided support for a day camp hosted June 3 - 6 2019 and led by collaborator and Choctal Tribal high school teacher Ms Cindy Thomas. This camp was open only to boys and girls that attend school at the Tribal Schools.
Bulldog Bytes @ Raleigh MS
The camp will be for students who are entering 2nd through 8th grade for the fall 2019 school year. Registration will be open from Monday, April 1 until Friday, April 26. The dates for the camp are July 15-19, 2019.

Bulldog Bytes Digital Divas, July 21 - 25 2019
Bulldog Bytes Digital Divas is open to middle school girls who will be enrolled in grades 6, 7, or 8 in the 2019-2020 school year. Participants in this 4-night residential (hosted at Mississippi State University) camp will learn computer programming and engineering design in addition to cybersecurity. All learning modules have a hands-on learning activity associated to facilitate a learner-centered environment. Industry speakers will collectively introduce students to computing careers.
Tuition is $500 for this camp, and scholarships are available. More information will be provided on the application process for the camp and for scholarships. Watch this site for details.

Bulldog Bytes partnered with Dr. Cherie Labat, Superintendent of the Columbus Municipal School District, and the Mississippi Coding Academies, to offer a day camp for elementary girls at Fairview Elementary. This camp was funded by NCWIT’s AspireIT program and was led by high school senior Hanna Hardy, an Aspirations in Computing award winner.
Bulldog Bytes partnered with the Mize Attendance Center in Mize MS to offer a day camp for girls that combined the algorithmic nature of dance with computer programming. This camp was funded by NCWIT’s AspireIT program and was a colloborative effort with high school senior MaKayla Luper, an Aspirations in Computing award winner.
